I don't have anything for halo 2 vista any more. The code for gravemind was horrible, and after I uploaded it I deleted it from my pc. Then months later I had all my posts removed from halomods. So it may still be on my ftp somewhere, or it may even be in the h2v section of this site.

There are no experienced coders that care about h2v... There's a fucking editing kit that has everything for creating new maps, the only thing you can't do is mod new weapons and stuff. If you want to be able to do that learn to code and look that the source for gravemind. If I cared I would easily be able to decipher that shit, and I did have a look at it while grim was making it and can agree it was pretty garbage code. Dothalo was garbage code too though, but it still gets the job done for the most part.

depending on the map compiler supporting OpenCL?

can someone please move all the previous posts to a Topic named "I R NOT SUPPORT H2V!".
Dude we get it, you have a fast computer... Stop asking about shit specific to your computer and how well it would work if you have 300 cores of your graphics processor being used to work on the compiling.

Sorry, but who the hell has 8 cores? I doubt he will be making it for 8 cores if there are less then a hand full of people with such possessors.

Not a bad idea really, some tasks run far faster on the GPU then the CPU. As long as I can use it on my ATI 5770. Also, I am assuming that it would take a good amount of effort and time to do this, I would advise to implement such as feature in an update. Here the main site if you want to look into it more.

I don't plan to do any crazy hyperthreading bs. I run on a single core cpu and the compiling time is only a few minutes, and it's not optimized yet. Honestly if you can't wait ~3 minutes then you can go fuck yourself. I'm more concerned with adding features and support for multiple map types then speed.

But then he won't be able to use his gigantic e-peen to make your app orgasm!

Got Mutation compiling maps again. I tested foundation and it black screened, so I'll try zanzibar and see if that loads. I need a copy of Visual Studio 2003 Profesional. If you have it please IM me.

Maps are loading in game again. Some still have spots that will freeze the game but I will work on getting that fixed.

You just keeping on trying to do things for other games or platforms and keep finishing nothing, that's sad, just focus on one thing at the time.

Me. That said, the tools for halo 1 xbox are much better for map creation than halo 2 xbox, probably just a bit under what Mutation would aim to do for it, so I would suggest finishing halo 2 support for the most part, unless you just have coders block on that and need something else to distract you while your brain figures something out.

Is that not basically what I suggested in my post...? I said the tools, which meant HEK and arsenic were way better than the map building ones for halo 2 xbox at the moment and suggested he work on halo 2 xbox for the moment, unless he's just bored of it temporarily.

There are 7 or so versions of the halo series I plan to support...

Did I miss something... I thought mutation was for Halo 2 Xbox... Plus I would assume it gets confusing switching back and forth between different halo versions while coding the same app.

I don't believe Grim is even using this app to please the H2X community anymore; more for a career application.

Once I can spend 16+ hours at a time working, it will progress quickly.
