[App] H2 Ocular

Post by GoldBl4d3 »

H2 Ocular

Description:

Like Viprone, this tool makes every non-host player able to see your projectile swaps. Only one difference, this tool does it right. You can apply visibility before, after, or while you mod your map. H2 Ocular has hours of research behind it. Much different than Viprone; Viprone takes meta from the rocket launcher. H2 Ocular changes one Int32 value that makes the projectile visible. All research was done by myself. This tool works 100% on every weapon, and does them all 100% properly. Trust me, your going to be happy.

Tutorial:

1. Open your map in H2 Ocular (File->Open)
2. Check each weapon you want to make visible(to non-host players)
3. Go to: Queue -> Engage Visible
4. Exit

My Notes to you all:

I havent posted here in forever and thought maybe you guys would like this. I havent made a tool in forever either. The last one ive been working on is Crux; which is a real time halo studio. But yes, I did research myself, if anyone would like to know this research so they too can implement this into an app of theirs, let me know. You just gotta give credit :) Or u can still credit and ill give u my library file for it.

This looks handy, but couldn't you have made it an attachment? Filefront likes to delete their files in a short period of time.

Nice program, but I doubt if I will ever use it... Maybe...

I do like playing with others on XBC, and some of them really enjoy having a basic projectile swap. I can really use this.

Man, back in the days of Halo 2 modding this would have been great.
All of the "XBL" mods on Turf with the scarab, hahaha. I had my own tricks for making this work, but you know, I'm good like that. ;)

There should be a tutorial for this here somewhwere.
The rocket proj can be seen by all, so the app copies, and overwrites part of the tag on unseen projectiles.

"H2 Ocular changes one Int32 value that makes the projectile visible."

We used to duplicate the rocket proj tag then swap its idents to another proj. (this still works)

If memory serves me right, you simply need to change the prediction type to None (or 0 as an Int16) in the Barrels reflexive.
