Ok so what if we add the grab gun so we can push and pull boxs to where we want them.
Then we need a way to select them and see there coords. we could just type it in then.
I tried to do this with the bsp viewer but it wont view this map.
Maybe ill transfer all the blocs and scenerys to another map and try.

I fixed that prob in entity, I can give you a build for it on AIM. Apparently they thought every map would always have a BSP water definition chunk.
Don't snort the magic, we need it for the network.

Does this Mod require Yelo or is that optional?

Most mods that "require" Yelo r ones that have AI in them ;)

@Xzodia i never uploaded anything directly to remnant so ...
Im not sure how.

@TT Onyx app does not need yelo to work, or a debug xbox. Its good to have both tho.
Speeds up the process. Sorry for the confusion.

False. You do need a debug running, otherwise the app cannot edit the items in real time.

He meant that you can still save your changes without the rth part.

Im just saying for the people who cant get rth to work, that this app is still useful.
I can save, fpt, load map, in about the same time as it takes to poke.

But its much less work, now that I got its RTH working.

The question i stated was only to ask if i needed Yelo to be ran, another question: is there a way for a secondary video option for a capture card in place in this very sexy application.

how...exactly do you have your xbox connected to your computer/router?....
nothing really for me to say...I can ftp a map in a minute or so..5 for sp-shared xD
whereas the 'poke/sync' freezes box for a sec or two and then its done....

bad RTH freezes the box, good RTH is instant.

The funny part about that is that if you use the non debug ip addy it will cause a slow RTH as for the debug its like instant which brings to my attention that it starting to work instantly after putting the right ip addy (The debug ip addy) not the the consoles dashboard addy. Another problem i found was that when streaming the video to your comp it sometimes shows blocks of the image then ends with a error saying that the xbox is either switching processes or has refused to respond, well the thing is when it posts the error my xbox ends up in freeze mode well after 2 hours of playing with the app i realized that it didn't crash it just put itself in freeze mode ROFL. another question is why cant the spawn point of the box's be at the 0 marker of the X,Y,Z axis ?

Really? It only takes me like 5-7 seconds to FTP(depending on the size)

if i dont load my debug bios i can load S.P.shared in 6 seconds, all Mp maps in 3 or less.
when im using onyx it pokes quick most of the time, when im skinning with entity and using other RTH some shaders poke fast, some take 90 seconds or more.
I can mske changes, save use a shortcut to quick reset my xbox fpt all in under a minute, then it takes almost a min for my xbox to load the map.
So my statement wasnt completely true, it was a little sarcasm. But the point is valid.
B4 i got onyx RTH working, i had made good progress on my map by viewing in game after i resized and set many blocs where i thought they should be using simple math, then fpting and viewing to make some minor changes.

So yes my statement was false, i wasnt saying anything bad about the App, i love it

8.8*'s looks like quality stuff, could there be a future for marker and vectors (also whatever the name for the thing is that determines the placement co-ord on a bloc) for adding bloc to bloc attachments so high detail map maker tile sets can be made and shared

not been reading much recent but been looking for this kinda inspiration

cool name too 8.9*'s

Has anyone ever got this application to work?, if so have you gotten the xbox debug communicator to work as in the video part of the application? For some reason every time i start the video streaming it ends up getting a error after 3 or so seconds into the stream.

Once your debug set up is right boot xbox load debug dash, get debug IP, i set mine so its always the same. then load your other modded dash, (unleash prefered), then either load halo2 or load yelo first then halo2. Load onyx map in halo2, and load the onyx map on your pc in the onyx APP, (make sure to paste your debug IP in settings, under the EDIT button). Make changes in App then hit poke, your in game halo2 map of onyx will freeze then start map over, changes will now show up in game.

If i remember right i never had my xbox freeze while poking, The way i did it was run the debug communicator then run the debug app on the xbox which will revert back to my dashboard ofter its splash screen then i would load up halo 2 then have onyx already setup and wallah no freeze when poking except if i push the screen capture button in the debug communicator it'll freeze the xbox after 2 secs after the video stream.
