Here's a few mods I have done that we play every day over system link.
I haven't included any pics as the maps are mostly the same, save for a few shader swaps and added lifts, etc. Mostly just fun weapon mods here.
ALL THESE MAPS ARE SLC AND DO NOT FREEZE.
If by some chance something is freezing the map, try the patch again. If it still happens let me know and I'll post a new patch.
The only map that has an item that freezes the game is the plasma grenades on Colossus, but your carrying count has been set to 0, so unless you modify the map, this should never happen.
Other than that, enjoy.

Nuke sized grenades, super magnum, oversized oddball (dual-weildable), bright lights and some other stuff

Grenades are faster and have impact damage only. Lots on map. A perfect game for nades only.

Same old lockout, ramps swapped to glass to see people above and below. Magnum sends you flying upwards and outwards (SLC) and the sword is a long sword. Start with these two weapons and the game is quite amusing.
Also, the needler really screws you up! You can watch your feet walking. Lots of force on grenades and barrels.

Tombstone with lifts added at the top of each base to transport you to the other base. Rockets shoot homing machines that track locked players pretty much forever. Invisible walls & deathzones removed.
I know the BR is too powerful, but useful in reaching high places when "rocket jumping"

Re: A few fun Mods
Overkill gives me an error with Serenity saying the source map doesn't match the original, and it freezes in the lobby. I tried on my clean highplains2.map, and on the clean map from the Remnant server.
I'd like to play with those homing rockets and see how they work.

The rockets are untouched, the bipd hlmt has a bitmask in one of its reflexives that identifys something which can be locked on to.CaptainPoopface wrote:I'd like to play with those homing rockets and see how they work.

Ah yes, I found the little tick box. I think you also have to give the projectile some guided angular velocity greater than 0, if you want to use a non-standard homing projectile.

haha, I remember doing my own homing rockets on bipeds, so much fun, noone knew what hit them til they saw the exhaust trail afterwards. I had the homing angle (i think it is) set to a "good" number to where if u got lucky, the rocket would do a 10ft circle around u going about 50mph :p

Posted an SPPF file for you. Hopefully it works.
