I don't know how you get it to freeze, i have done gasgiant entierly without freezing, floodlab try the scripted, i think i changed the spawns by script.
Floodzone and forrunner ship get rid of the flood infection, go to the bipd tag "floodcarrier", look at the idents(dependency) and null out "char - objects\characters\flood_infection\ai\flood_infection"
As for no weapon on some maps, try chaging your biped to arbiter, i forgot to set the first person weapon on a map.
When i posted the maps i tested all before, and patch where made from clean maps, i'll take a look at deltaapproach but i have done it entierly too without freezing.

I meant both, but don't worry about how long it takes that doesn't matter at all,also i don't mean you have to test all, just do whatever you want with it and if you want i may try to fix it for you, I understand you may not have time, like everyone

DFire; Heathen's interested cuz this would help him legend and wolfman, all of whom currently have and sometimes play h2c on kai, I would if I had a larger xbox harddrive and could keep both on it at once.. I should try xbox hdm or that "chimps hd tool" sometime... first attempt with xboxhdm told me harddrive wasnt lockable...but its the same make/model that Heathen used..lol... back then it's likely I fucked it up..anyways wrong place to talk, I've no idea about a lot of SP structures or H2C issues, but I imagine heathen might get me into it, lot less work with two people working on it..

Boy...getting a little awkward in this thread...... but seriously, if help is needed in any way, just ask for it already. Posting pointless statements about waiting for Mutation is not going to help anyone. As I have already stated...I am more than willing to churn out the perfect loading conversions for you guys to work on, just need to know which ones you need done.

It's called reading. You should learn to do it. We have a wiki with every section filled in, and your gunna tell me that we don't have a perfect understanding? well that got blown out of proportion...
1) i was offering to help meaning i'm WILLING to READ AND LEARN what i need to know...
2) also, it would be nice to know where our problem is on the SPtoMP converted maps so do we have a list on this and i mean specific as in: "chunk/line/script blarg fucked up for reason blarg blarg honk" so that way we can look into what we need to fix to fix said error?
3) twinreaper was/is offering help with the conversion process, meaning we have people willing to work on this other then you, shock120, and it's not like we're trying to steal your glory, so don't just tell us to wait, we want to work on it now, even if we make little head way, progress IS progress

read tut, followed tut, built map: 03b_newmombasa, works over slc, of course the scarb doesn't due to it being script but that was expected, had no unicode strings (matched lockouts 1 to 1), and when played with teams it froze...
sadly it's kind of an open ended tut due to each maps differences, but yeah...

Any more progress on system link coop for Halo 2? I never got around to testing and fixing the various maps nedeos asked if I could fix. I was super busy back when I was testing these patches. Anyway, can someone formulate some type of check list so we know whats done with this project and what isnt? It would be great if we could finish this, and eliminate most of the bugs if possible. Also the latest patches should probably be posted again, since the forum doesn't have the others on record.

I had the list here, though there never was anyone available to test the maps in syslink anyway which is the main problem.. xD

By the way "fix sbsp spaws" just means that when a player dies it would be nice to respawn next to his coop mates, since what happens if you die and they are on the second sbsp,
you probably spawn outside the second sbsp (which is where the first sbsp is but not loaded if the other players are on the second sbsp) so you'd get suck outside the sbsp and not even being able to be teleporter

Okay, so if I test the maps out to see if they work on system link can someone tackle some of these bugs? I have not done a lot of modding and such for a long time, some that knows a little more than I may have to tackle some of those bugs. I'll test the maps for System Link though if others are willing to help out with the bugs... . Thanks neodos for posting whats done and what not.
about the cinematics, I don't know if its actual graphics or not but would it be more simple if we got a hold of them saved them as .bik files and referenced them as a video rather then whatever bungie did?

Ok guys, im really sorry about bumping a really old thread. But I need huge help with this.
Ive downloaded the patches from the original post, but im not quite sure how I would go about adding the patches. I mean I know how to add the patch via Super PPF, but what map do I apply the patch to? and how do I get it to show up on the multiplayer menu? Ive tried many different ways but seriously cant figure this out, anybody wana try to help me?

1st mod the xbox,
use prey's menu menu menu to add maps to Multiplayer menu
use yelo trainer to enable AI
and google stuff.
I'll make a quick mainmenu if you want? tomorrow I will.
also that would be great if you could make me a mainmenu thank you

Newer Entity's also have a mainmenu editor for MP. It's a little more automated (aka less complicated) for adding preview pics.
I haven't encountered any bugs with it and I haven't heard anything from anyone else. I can easily add Campaign Map support, just didn't have enough info at the time.

Im having a issue with the mainmenu that you posted, it freezes at the loading screen at 99% and doesnt go anywhere
