RemnantMods Makeover Competition
It's time for a change, let's make this happen!

I've been looking at the website lately and think we need a new sprinkle of glimmer for our website.
Two points that I wanted to improve right away: our banner, and our favicon.

• Banner: the banner can be any width over 200px, and less than 800px, but should have a height of 110px. It should represent us as a halo 2 modding site. It should feature the words "RemnantMods". Be creative, and put some effort into it!

• Favicon: has to be favicon dimensions (16x16px), Should contain a symbol which represents the site, and is immediately recognizable.

I will create a voting topic for each category on October/08/2008. Any entries not in the day before on on that day will not be counted. Sorry peeps, but get your entries in early!

The winner(s) will receive a custom emblem as well has getting a custom name colour (Note: not a colour currently in use).

Awsum might have a go even tho people here could do a lot better than me have been thinking remnant needed a new look not the same old thing like halomods

Hmm, are we still doing the "Remnant" theme?

We should also look into a new Forum skin, a custom one.

But I'll look into that Banner and Favicon.

I always liked this place, and because its going to be the new "Big Modding Site" we might as well make it look great.

"Big Modding Site", I truly hope we never become: we need to be able to weed out the bad from the good, Halomods is the melting pot from which we take the hardened gems. -C

A little over a week to go guys, get your stuff in early so you can make more :] (unless its totally da' bomb and you want to make it perfect ;p).

I know, just trying to make a good banner, these things take time.

Well, I'll try, I can't say it'll be pretty though.

Paint.net is a little bit of a limit sometimes... Might I ask what is wrong with the current favicon? I like it.

I've seen a .gif favicon running in phpBB before, can you make it work?

And if you noticed, that's Reach in the background.
You know... I can like that background now... if you don't use it, I will...

Text is far too dark. "Remnant" is hardly readable.

Ok, I'll work on that, also i may add some more the the background, Cougar said it was to plan...
