A Remnant Mod?
i was think we should make a Mod (for Halo2 of course)
like a Mod for this site, a Mod that all of us help work on.
like if say, i host it, its still NOT my map, its OUR map.
every one would help work on it, they would post any thing that could help(Tags and Ideas)
i know i may not be saying this right, but do you guys kinda know what i mean?
Side Note:
i could NOT host the Map/Mod.
My Internet sucks:

I'll give you some tags for my Uber-Super-Duper-Most-Excellent-Killer-Chair-Gun.
It is an extremely easy gun to make but it is hilarious to play with.
A basic bruteshot that fires 25 chairs in all directions splattering everyone withing a 25 foot radius. It rapes...

Re: A Remnant Mod?
a BSP conversion would be cool, but i was maybe thinking we should try making a new map,
like one made out of mechs or somthing.
unless we find a kick ass bsp no one have used yet

Am I the only person who thinks a map conversion is easier and more reliable than an sbsp conversion?

Have you got it all figured out and working exactly as it should? I would use map conversion if so, otherwise if h2core is working for him, why not use that?xzodia wrote:Am I the only person who thinks a map conversion is easier and more reliable than an sbsp conversion?

If this were to happen, I could skin. The only downside is I have a job and stuff to do, so I may or may not have time to work on it depending what's going on.

Man be optimistic about this, even though you may be just thinking realistically.E73RN4L wrote:I'm guessing no one is really interested in this.
If the creator of this thread takes the initiative to contact individuals and shows signs of progress than this project will be finished. Since the creator has this very creative idea, I am not entirely sure whether he is expecting an individual to be influenced and take the leadership rule, or for him to step in and start getting ideas in place.
EDIT: Depending on how experienced gjsdeath is in modding, we may beable to throw ideas at him and see where it goes from there.
OR
Assigning specific duties sounds like an excellent plan, but through years of experience, assigning plans to individuals who you do not associate with personally and expecting an outcome is always difficult.

Its just chunk cloning...E73RN4L wrote:xzodia wrote:Am I the only person who thinks a map conversion is easier and more reliable than an sbsp conversion?
Last I heard was no one could put extra player spawns or objectives into those maps yet. Thats why MPC has the 2 player spawns on the first bsp only.

Re: A Remnant Mod?
That problem only comes with multiple sbsp's which this wouldn't have...
On a side note I would imagine if we added spawns linked to the 2nd sbsp then they would have priority when that sbsp was loaded, eliminating the problem...

but not even close to as good as you Doorn4n
I'm just good with ideas, thats why i like modding, its a way of having my ideas to come to life.
Even tho alot of my ideas are to much for my skill...
i still try to do my best to make them work.
And i can't do much with this topic right now(as much as i want to)
my computer is screwed up(i have some gay bot flooding my internet)
I'll most likly will start this topic up again later.
Unless some one wants to take this over?
i wont mind, i'll just give any input i can
