It's nice of you to be optimistic, but his goals are really not very realistic. There are year long college courses on C++ and they just really introduce you to it. On top of that he wants to write a base to an operating system, and he hasn't been coding in C or C++ for years... Like he said he learned about it a little, which I guess you could say he can cross that one off, but an operating system, come on...

Ok, then I shall prove you wrong. Also you might want to brush up on your computer history And just because because I havent been doing C/C++ for years doesent mean I cant know them Atleast im learning it, I never said I wanted to learn the language inside out.

Dude you learned to code like 6 months ago, you are not going to be able to write an operating system. You think many people have written one within like a year of learning to code. Also you started off in a managed language, good luck writing any decent kind of OS without having years of practice with memory handling. Why do you say I need to brush up on my computer history??

Well I got enough done to make me happy, and it made me get into the habit of finishing things before I start more projects. Which has had a great impact on my life

Hey Grim, assuming those ads for the free stuff are for the Trainn.org sites, (Like http://www.360elite4free.com/ or http://www.yourfreevideoipods.com/) theres actually a rather easy way to get referrals. There's a website called http://www.calistyle101.com thats simplified it a bit. I'm too lazy to explain the system so just read this thread.
