Re: Official Halo 2 Modeling and Rendering Thread
Awesome
You plan on getting into the industry right? You should have no problems doing so.

Re: Official Halo 2 Modeling and Rendering Thread
Thanks, I hope so! yeah i just finished studying in a 3D animation school, so I am working on my portfolio/demo reel, this masterchief will probably go into my portfolio =)
I'll leave the surprise of the final image for, if it gets there, check the Bungie Update.
Now back to work, running outta time!

Re: Official Halo 2 Modeling and Rendering Thread
I wish haha!
Big problem exporting textures from Zbrush to softimage, duh mega improvisation i'll be posing and rendering from zbrush never done that, xD
Snap always a big problem at the end. i should be able to pull it off, but i totaly changed from epic thing to humor, not so funny anyway :/
Edit!
No, won't be able to finish it today to many crashes and problems with Zbrush.
Edit:
I was lucky and could do some very fast crappy render, thus forgive me for the lack of anti aliasing :/
But yeah this is crap compared to what I had planned, fail D=
But it really is a lst minute thing, i submited 10 minutes before the deadline, i'll make a real render another day.

It's still awesome no matter how crappy you say it is.

The extension over the hand(thing with the halo on it) makes the device kinda bulky, maybe something smaller or closer to the hand?

Lol I couldn't tell that was part of an arm until the second render. I thought it was a futuristic bike of sorts. :p

Re: Official Halo 2 Modeling and Rendering Thread
Now add procedural mesh, textures and animation to it we can have an infinite amount of awesome plants. lol
Still, very cool.
We need to make a new thread for off topic rendering, cause as cool as some stuff that is posted here is, it's off topic(not related to Halo2). Or we could just rename this thread to the "Official Modeling and Rendering Thread".
