I'll come back if/when there is a better forum experience.

A forum is like a mall. The subforums are like the shops. If you can't window shop, you're not going to draw attention (unless you have a big neon sign that says "naked women!" or something, then maybe). It shouldn't be a hassle for users to see what is new on the forums, nor should it be a hassle for buyers to see what is new or being sold in a shop. If I have to put forth work in trying to browse a site, I'm going to lose interest in the place real quick. At least reworked and other sites show you which forums (and subforums) have had new posts, and don't require you to check the date and time instead.

My eyes shouldn't be bleeding after I'm done looking at a site either. Gren made that fucking bright change as a joke on the halo kiddies who browsed that shit in the dark. Burn baby, burn...

Oi! I like this idea...

I'll get back to working on the theme that will be replacing this temporary theme. Essh, I be only one man with a full-time job: cut me a break for not running out to find a good looking theme to replace this one with until I have finished the custom one that I am making. Maybe this is for the best, since you all hate this theme, you might not hate the new one I am cooking up. Essh.

But yes: I am only doing this because I <3.

Yea, your too good for just three to get the better of you. :]

If you want to offer some valid/useful criticism on what I am doing for the forum theme, you can switch your default style in the user control panel to the other one and add some criticism on the Index page: I am only working on the Index right now. The Index.

Does it seem to anyone else like the site loads faster? It just seems more raw and responsive to me for some reason. Good work cougar, teach me your webhosting ways! You paying for a server or you run one of your own from home or something? What OS/distribution is your server running? I'm assuming some sort of *nix distribution judging by some filepaths I've seen?

Well none of the happy new year posts in the happiness thread were there and the halo photography thread was missing a bunch of pages. I noticed that the last post before new ones were from September, but everything is showing up now so I guess it's good.

Remnants is self explanatory, its old, its full of old modders and its place should stay old =D

Not i am just pissed by the fact there is no highlight(again) on the subforum names to see in which subforum something was posted.

I know this is temporary I just hope at least no post were lost, make a backup and send me one =D

Switched the board back to the prosilver style because obviously nobody liked the one I was trying out and prosilver is more functional.
Hope this helps soothe you all until I can come up with a real solution.

Yay thanks!

Also what's the problem with this one? why did you wanted to change it?

To be straight, I'm not exactly sure. I think I had the idea of nesting the boards inside a wrapper of the front-page: so I wanted a fixed width theme.
Let's just say I was temporarily insane, but I'm better now. :]

I liked the color of the old style. The only thing I didn't like was the messed up quotes honestly.

I've noticed recently that there have been some bots registering and posting on the forums, like Edmundo, shaun64, and someone else with an xbox 360 controller ad in their sig. The forum may need another account cleanup to delete some of these bots.

I was going to create a different thread but we don't have a site development section.
