Looking through animations?

Post by nullen »

Is there a way to view a model's jmad animations via a modelling program of some sort?

Right now, it's not possible.

Is there a way to swap the idle animation with something else, at least?

I haven't done work with animations at all really, however I know that there are some that have had success in swapping/changing some animations. I am not quite sure how it's done but, but something like that is possible.

There is a video tutorial but the link is currently broken:

I'm not sure if this is the V2 video but I uploaded it here:

Swapping animations is somewhat straightforward, although there are many pitfalls. Whatever animation you choose will loop continuously while the biped is idle, so changing the 3 P animation will probably look strange. Or do you only care about FP? Can you tell us more about what you're trying to accomplish?

Demonic Sandwich was the manwich for animations, but he has resolutely resisted my pleas to return. Someone here can probably help though. I had to do some animation stuff for my button mashing mod and my power up mod, using tricks DS concocted.
