Re: The Official Happiness Thread
They named Relic Anniversary after us:
“Remnant” Multiplayer Map Comes to Halo 2: Anniversary
A secluded island, hidden along the coastal regions of Delta Halo, “Remnant” features a towering and iconic Forerunner megalith, weathered over untold millennia. The map’s asymmetric layout and the artifact’s elevated, yet embedded, position, make it perfect for classic Slayer, Assault, and 1-Flag CTF game types. Of course, this re-imagined version of the classic map sports its share of innovations.
For a deeper look at “Remnant” and all the multiplayer maps in Halo 2: Anniversary, be sure to check out the “Breaking Down the Map” series above or on The Halo Channel on Windows 8.1 and Xbox One. Hosted by 343 Industries’ Andy “Bravo” Dudynsky, “Breaking Down the Map” offers an intimate look at multiplayer maps in Halo 2: Anniversary, highlighting key power weapon spawns, strategic map positions and much more.

That is the first thing I thought of!
I want to believe too. Do you think 343 would pay tribute?

Re: The Official Happiness Thread
all my modding problems were solved by installing windows 7 x64, and thanks to DriverEasy, I was able to get compatible drivers for every device my laptop has (it was built for windows 8, so I can't download anything useful from brand's website), even touch screen works!!
also, moar happiness, i got a free night to mod halo, these are some caps, cool!
A random map I made while thinking what could I do using the scnr cloning trick for unlimited chunk cloning :3 (yes, its a coagulation bsp conversion with AI, weather and water :v the base is headlong)
btw, did you guys know that you can poke in RTH certain things in BSP? like water level and weather index, for example

Nice. Reminds me of Geometry Wars 2, where it feels like looking at a neon sign at night.XZodia wrote:Check out my new website branding:

Any of you live around there and would like meet over a drink or something?

I would love to get out there and meet IRL neodos, but I don't have any justification to go there or vacation time saved up. Are you planning to visit some game companies in the US? Perhaps LA to work with movie studios?

I would love to meet up as well, though I am just staying in Seattle this time, if I come back next year I will probably try to visit other big cities in the US.CaptainPoopface wrote:I would love to get out there and meet IRL neodos, but I don't have any justification to go there or vacation time saved up. I'll actually be visiting Valve studio's by the end of my trip, so that should be amazing, i should look into visiting Bungie they're in Bellevue as well if I recall correctly, no idea if they do public tours though.

Aw man, just came back from my trip in Seattle, it was great!CaptainPoopface wrote:I am currently doing a game soundtrack with with a friend who lives in Seattle. If you get a job out there, I would probably have to come visit.
The Dota 2 tournament was amazing, great organisation, super cool light show with big ass screens and the audience cheering for the teams competing, great stuff, also meeting people I know from working/playing online.
Also got to Visit Valve's office and the Team Fortress 2 team
No plans to work in Seattle so far, but I will probably will do the trip again next year!
