Remnantmods

The limited support team of what I believe consists of two members is working hard to make this forums the best they can be. As some of you may have noticed however there are some small technical errors, and temporary "down-times". This is normal mainly because I'm a moron and installed a couple of bad mods and have been working hard behind the scenes to fix what I broke.

Anyways on the list of things to fix, get working, or make:

1) Attachment mod; its now 100% broke unless it can operate without database access... Working on fixing the problem, being held back my mysterious technical errors.

2) Gallery integration. Need to fix the BBCode button function for image injection. Need to try to get Gallery Links in Profiles mod working. Working URL's are a high priority on this since currently the links to the images hosted there are not friendly; current work-around is using permalinks.

3) Skin, site visuals. If you are talented in this area (CSS, Images, etc) then I could probably use your help! Basically want to make the site "custom".

I had to make the installation files "clean" and the way I ended up doing this was to create a bran-new forums installation and move the database to it, good news is that the attachments mod should work fin now >_>

PLEASE allow me administrative acess. This forum skin and such is angering me. Or at least zip up the skin and send it to me on AIM ? please! This is terrible. yourdomain.com XD

As the guy before me, if you allow me administrative access, I'd be happy to fix the yourdomain.com problem, and anything else I'm asked to do.

Theres no "problem" I simply have not had the free time to upload the old skin.

I'm not talking about the skin. In the Title bar, it says, "yourdomain.com," and I believe I know how to fix that so it reads, 'Remnant' or 'Acemods', whichever is needed.

As I previously said not a problem. Will be overhauling it on the weekend hopefully.

I really liked the old setup and style, but a different color scheme. I am partial to black and cool blues 8) . But I wouldn't mind the old one either.

yea, I have to add the C# code wich will only take a minute and then halo 2 stuff. I want to do it properly so that will be long but atleast its proper! If you want you can talk to me on AIM with any questions ill be on for the next 2 hours.

You guys do have edit, and quote buttons, and what I think was a delete button already. The graphics used for them are bad though. Look in the bottom-right corner of your post.

I figured that out, which is why I edited my post.

So we have Moderators now? Did they even apply?

Edit: Apparently not, they don't show up in the Moderator list.
How would they have done it without some sort of status?

Are you gunna have the emblem system like halomods? Not that I care just wondering.

He should, considering that this is basically an extension of HaloMods. But, of course, I'd prefer that the emblems be a little different.

If you guys want emblems your gonna need to make an emblem competition to generate the required images. Also someone needs to ask Iron Forge for the mod...

(I mean someone with some influence...)

A competition on who can make the best images?

IMO, xzodia has the most influence out of all of us here.

And yes; for the best images...

Simply put, emblems where never very big with me but if you get all thats need I'll be happy to implement it.

To make such a competition, you'd have to make a new category and forum, because it doesn't really belong in either the Project or Halo 2 Modding categories.

You could do the same as HaloMods, with a Rules, Announcements, and Contests/Competition in one category.
