2008?

Ok, I know that I am breaking rule #11 of "The Laws"
11) Avoid making topics or posts relating to Politics, Race, or Religion. It does NOT really matter what your intentions are, it will most likely escalate to a flame war within the first couple of posts.
Just keep your Political/Religious/Racial thoughts and ideas to yourself.
The only thing I am going to say against this is that with my request it does not involve any explanation.
I would sincerely like to know how people will/would vote simply by answering the poll, and if they desire, type ONLY the name of the candidate.
Do not type anything else in a reply post but the name of candidate you are choosing, only if you choose to voice some sort of opinion. Please for the love of Pete, no explanations.
Briefly, which candidate will you or would you vote for the 2008 election?
Don't discuss anything in this thread.

Well I live in New Zealand so it doesn't really affect us who wins but I have heard some stuff about it.
EDIT: I just wanted to be involved in the thread..
- Haha, I love how he totally ignored your rules on posting.
You want me to delete this, DoorM4n?

I'm completely undecided after a lot of research.
Nah, not a big deal. It was more a guideline and he wasn't going into any depths of why or why not. I just want to ensure everything stays peaceful considering I too am breaking a rule.

Unlocked after thinking it through a bit more.
As for me, I am undecided. I am not ever sure if I will even register though I may anyway just in case I do make my mind up.

Undecided.
I lack information about either candidate and have no desire to research.

I'll say mine though, I'm against everything obama is for,
He says that everything will be free, and yet there will be tax cuts...
Unless he is going to rob a bank, I sure hope he can crap out money...
I can understand that his logic, is un-logical...
Not that I'm ALL for McCain, but at least hes more logical.
I'm against Gun Control.
I'm For nuclear Power.
I'm Logical, if you want to know why I say this, don't ask me here, use my AIM.

Im apposed to voting.
My opinion: elections are a media circus, most people vote based on comercials. Ridiculous! Also it dosnt matter what the candidets say they will do, when there put in position they find they cant do the things they want. The president is a politcal actor.
Other people tell him what to say, and what to do. Money rules every decision, whats best for america: not to be broke! or seem weak! every other thing revolves around this.
No one person is incharge of anything in this country, yet they make it look like the president holds this power, its all a stage. Electorial votes elect presidents, my vote does not. So why vote.

McCain!
I've been told that Obama believes in abortions, which to me is wrong. It seems like it's murder but will be acceptable.
Also Obama is associated with terrorists. (Or that's what i was being told)
So yeah... McCain is who im with... too bad i can't vote

McCain hasnt taken 1 earmark in his 20+ years in politics.
This means he has never used his position to get tax money to pay for anything.
He is the only polition in over 50 years to do this.
For this he is clearly a better candidate, but i wont vote.

Most people who are undecided vote by what they see on commercials. Most people have a belief in one party, one way or the other, and it's pretty hard to change, no matter how much more 'right' you think you are. It's like how religion starts all kinds of wars around the world, because everyone knows they're 'right', and think they need to attack others if they don't agree. But yeah, my parents are Republicans, but they've said they will probably vote democrat this time, because they can't stand to vote Republican again this year. "They've had their chance, now we'll see what the Democrats can do." is how they put it. I am a registered democrat for the record.

Sad, Good bye good life...
I find it that so many people vote for what sounds good,
I bet Hitler's plan sounded good to the people under him.
ok, I'm done with this topic, no one seems to understand,
I'll just get back to my modding.

Wow, seriously. Do not promote arguments by telling information others can find on their own. Just name the candidate only. I am running a serious poll here and
NOT wanting a discussion.
Thank you.

You're logical but you surely don't know how to follow
one simple rule.
I know I am not logical so don't come to me if you need realistic answers.

:p
Don't discuss anything in this thread.
What the...? Five Obama fans and no one has made a comment about him, only McCain fans have. Very interesting...

Well, I want to major in political science(for sure) and a broadcasting/speaking arena to get better at speaking, so I have been keeping up with the candidates for a long time. I adore Ron Paul and would have voted for him without hesitation if he was the Republican candidate. I have been undecided about the two leading candidates since day one of their candidacy and I truly think I have researched them for a solid 12 hours in total. I have concluded my decision.
My mind has been chosen between the two.
-I would vote for ...
FUCK I have researched so much. I think I'm still undecided. I swear. To me. It's the lesser over to evils.

If Mike Huckabee didn't want to amend the constitution to fit more with the Bible(and in case you are wondering I'm Christian), then he's a Republican that I could see voting for, also Ron Paul is someone I could see myself voting for. I think the Libertarian slogan should be: "Libertarians, reasonable Republicans".

Don't you use My color!
And something that sets me off about obama is that he can't even pay respect to the flag,
people die for that flag, the flag represents us.
now I'm really done posting here, I needed to say that.
also, didn't click vote for McCain? his vote isn't up there.
