I have been wanting a video card, I want something that won't be completely out of date by next year. But sadly it can't be over $200/250.
I prefer a Nivdia card, and I notice price isn't always everything:
9800 seems to be better then a 260, despite the price difference, I am not completely sure though, that is why I am asking you guys.

Some other questions:
How much does the video memory effect performance? 512, 1024, etc.
Anything I should look for that effects performance?

Re: Video Card
512MB is plenty so 1GB is perfect, if not overkill for most games. I was thinking of getting a 9800GTX+ a little while back because of it's performance.
