That sucks, I don't think they carry half sizes regularly if you have a big enough shoe size. Most places usually have 13 or 14 in my experience, just a limited choice of what type of shoe you can get.

To be disappointed.

To judge someone favorably, yet realize too late that you were wrong. To have opened yourself to this person, only to be thrust aside as someone insignificant.

To be the only contributing member in a friendship.

To acknowledge the idea that most people lose maturity as they age.

To watch people change, especially for the worse. To see those you trusted gone forever, only to be replaced by someone new, someone you may have to get to know all over again, with the chances of friendship minimal.

To truly look at others. To see them making mistakes, and to look back upon your past. To remember the very moment when they told you that only idiots would let their lives go as they have.
Hypocrits.

To change opinions and ideas so often that you don't truly know who you are. To try to figure out which, 'you,' is the right, 'you.' Is the passionate one right? Is the rational one right? Is the emotional one right? Is the realistic one right? Or is the combination of all aspects right? Which personality knows truth?

To waste time. To not know what to do, or how to proceed. To strive to be something great, and yet not know how get there.

To truly look at yourself. To realize that you may have all the knowledge in the world. To realize that you may receive fantastic revelation after revelation. To realize that you're the only mature person you know. To realize that you've congratulated yourself for all these things, only to later realize that putting anything into practice is completely different than understanding the process.

To feel alone.
