If you google the virus you'll most likely find the correct program built to destroy it. Of course always run any programs like this in safe mode..
I had to this with my Gaelicum virus which corrupts nearly all .exe's

Have you tried booting in safe mode and scanning computer?

So far, I've done a full scan with AOL Security Center. It foundhe viruses, but was unable to block/get rid of them.
So I downloaded Windows Defender after looking at some reviews. It's currently in a full scan.

Tural recommended AVG, so if Win.Def. doesn't work, I'll probably use it as my next step.

And Razor, that was one of the few antispyware programs that I saw, and I'll probably use it if none of the others work.

I'm just testing out my current options, at the moment.

You didn't mention whether you did these scans in Safe Mode. I believe Safe Mode only starts up the things that you absolutely need, so hopefully the virus doesn't load and prevent the virus scanning programs from running.

Oh, no, I haven't booted with safe mode, and I'm not sure how, or if it's O.K. too.

But webHancer, the supposed name of the virus/spyware, can no longer be found through scans. I believe that Windows Defender deleted it. However, all the "symptoms" of the virus are still present.

SuperAntiSpyware looks good, as does AVG.

I think you press f8 on boot maybe? If you can't figure out the button to do it, then just let your computer get to the windows loading screen and turn it off, then it should give you options on how to start it, so start with just plain safe mode and do some scans with w/e programs you want to. Safe mode is for stuff like what you're experiencing, it's ok to use it, the idea is that hopefully the virus doesn't load, so it isn't able to attack all the antivirus programs.

You may want to use these two programs to check. Just don't have both of them running at the same time. My mom's pc had something on her pc that norton couldn't remove (norton sucks more then it gives). And these two programs cleared everything up. Also in windows open the task manager and look up each process running to check what it is, If one is considered a threat, find where it is located on your pc and write it down. Then boot in safe mode and delete it. then scan for other threats. Spybot may give an anti-virus or firewall override warning but if you set your firewall like that then ignore it.

You don't need the tee-timer so just choose to not install it. Make sure you update this everytime you use it and immunize your system with it every week at minimum just to be safe.

This program has a service that starts at startup so make sure you don't accidentally disable the service.

I just remembered why I should be really, really pissed off that Microsoft cut my account off and that I have no current way to pay for it. Those stupid fuckers broke my account when I sent in my RROD 360 and the DLC linked to it will only ever work with that single account. Considering there is about $100 worth of DLC on it that I cannot get back this makes me pretty pissed off.

My motherboards raid controller died. And I can't order a new motherboard because I don't have a credit card. And the new board I was going to get is the same exact one I have but it cost $100 less then when I first got it. Its only $30 for a 8 sata port board with 3 IDE channels. And it uses ddr2 667 memory. And has duel 1000 LAN.

It's a lot harder to practice what you preach than just preach it. Look at all the politicians that have gotten in trouble for all the stuff they preached against. Spitzer and the prostitutes... what is that, preach how bad it is and then use them. That other senator that was gay. As long as you know what the ideal is and say it, and try your hardest to match that, and not give in to the easy way and just completely go against it forever, like those guys, then you're a lot better off. I understand caving every once in a while, EVERYONE does it.

I got that InfoNotice slip thing from UPS yesterday, it had the "Office" box checked for absence. So i went down to the apartment office to go and pick up the 3 packages that were delivered. The lady down there looked everywhere i couldnt FIND them. The she called UPS with the InfoNotice number, they have no fucking record of the number. So i came bk to the apartment and went online to ups.com, entered in the InfoNotice number, still nothing. So i checked my Newegg UPS email, it said this...

THE RECEIVER HAS MOVED. UPS ATTEMPTING TO LOCATE RECEIVER TO COMPLETE DELIVERY, NO DELIVERY WAS MADE / A POSTCARD HAS BEEN SENT TO THE RECIPIENT REQUESTING THAT THEY CONTACT UPS.[X]

WTF!? Receiver has moved? Me and 3 roomates live here you retards! If you thought noone lived here, why didnt u go ask the fucking office, THEY'RE OPEN!!! Plus, if he thought noone lived here, why did he leave a fucking slip! We even have name tags on the mailbox and apartment com thing. So i called UPS, the guy asked the that fucking InfoNotice, so i gave him the number, he didnt find anything, so i gave him the tracking number, he gave me the same shit, told me i could go pick it up 30 fucking miles in Lansing on Monday (they arent open weekends ). The guy said i would have to get a hld of the shipper which is Newegg and tell them to redeliver to same address. They said if I called Monday to Newegg, they wouldn't be able to ship out til Tuesday, im thinking to myself, if Newegg can ship me 3 packages in 2 days, they can fucking ship out Monday to me, and the fucker had better at least knock!
