WHAT THE FUCK

About two weeks ago, my Xbox 360 received the RROD. Yesterday, I returned it to Best Buy, where I purchased it, because I still had a warranty over it. I received a new one, and today it showed the RROD ...

Not to lucky now are you?
Not that I believe in luck, nor "what goes around comes around"

Does the warranty still stand?

I paid another 60$ to continue the warranty, yes.

My brother thought somebody hacked the Xbox because he made a guy mad in matchmaking. <_<

The stores usually have a 30 day return policy if shit fucks up. I certainly hope they didn't fuck you over and end the new warranty because of that quick RROD.

It does that occasionally for me because an update... changed my settings >_>

Now I come back from school to find my computer at the login screen and I get to curse and hope my code backed up safely.

Dear WildBlue customer,

WildBlue has been made aware that your bandwidth usage over the past 30 days is approaching the Usage Threshold, as defined in WildBlue’s Fair Access Policy (FAP).

To ensure that your service is not downgraded in accordance with our FAP (available here), you will want to decrease your usage. To view your current usage statistics, please follow the steps outlined at this site. While WildBlue does keep track of the total amount of traffic on an account, for privacy purposes we do not actively monitor the content of that traffic.

If, after discussing this matter with all users of your WildBlue service, the excessive usage cannot be accounted for, it may have been caused by the misuse of your system by an outside user. Unfortunately this would mean that the security of your system has been compromised, and will need to be secured as soon as possible. To remedy this issue you we recommend you follow these steps:

1: Ensure that you have applied all critical patches and service packs to your operating system (i.e. Windows). These are available at http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com. Microsoft Internet Explorer is required to access this page.

2: Ensure that your anti-virus software is up to date. New virus definitions come out frequently, so if you are uncertain if your program is up to date, you will want to ensure that it is. Most can be configured to update on their own. If you do not have anti-virus software, you will want to acquire some. This should be available at most retail stores.

3: Have your system serviced by a professional. In a large number of cases, there has been a breach in the security of the affected system. This could possibly lead to more severe issues, or a recurrence of that which has been brought to our attention.

General Statement as to why WildBlue has a Fair Access Policy:

To ensure equal Internet access for all subscribers, we maintain a fair access policy. Fair access establishes an equitable balance in Internet access across the WildBlue Services by service plan for all WildBlue customers regardless of their frequency of use or volume of traffic. To ensure this equity, you may experience some temporary throughput limitations. WildBlue Internet access is not guaranteed. “

If you have any questions, please visit the help section of our website or call WildBlue Customer Care at 1-888-278-6858.

Thank you,

WildBlue

Soon, my download speed will go from 1,200kbps to 23/9 kbps

Sorry wild blue for wanting to use the internet for what it is made for!

This lets them to be lazy and "FAP" away to the money they take in instead of upgrading systems to handle the needed level of traffic.
Gives them the right to throttle you regardless of bandwidth package.
While the first two would likely make me not chose such and ISP, this alone would make me walk out the door and look for another ISP.

After all, you pay for such bandwidth and should not be penalized just because you fucking use it.

lul, poor Zac...

I screwed up my neck and my hip on Tuesday and they're still messed up. I can't look to the right without turning my body and after running about two miles (even if I limp) my leg gives out. Kind of interferes with Cross-Country.

I wish the human life span wasn't so limited.

- I love music, and I'm learning guitar, and I'm actually not that bad for a beginner after a couple weeks of practicing for like, an average of 20 minutes per day. I'd like to become proficient at guitar to possibly be in a band, later.

- I'm working on a project with my brother that may not end for quite a long time. We've been working on it on and off for... a few months? I'm guessing that we're .01% done, only because he's in college, so we can't get together, and the actual completion of said project would be expensive. So, years for now, we might have significant progress. Still, I'm interested in it, and suspect I always will be.

- Computers have always interested me, and there are things I'd like to do. Learn computer languages, maybe program a game with a team.
Some of the things I want to do aren't really productive, though. For instance, there's a tiny scene in Iron Man in which Stark lightly waves his hand over a space in front of his computer, and lights appear to indicate a keyboard. I think that would be freakin' sweet, and other than the technical experience, it wouldn't do much for me. Unless I mass produced.
Because, if you think about it, the technology for such a thing exists.

Anyway, if you want to become really good at guitar, you have to pretty consistently practice, and you have to have a giant passion for it. So it'll take a lot of time.
The plausibility that the project would actually work is rather low, but it's something I've always wanted to do, probably something every person has wanted to do, at some point in your life. And therefore, many people have worked on it, "official" people who are intelligent, but it only seems to work with little success, and with any great success, a component I don't want appears necessary. It's a dream of mine, and I want it to be accomplished.
The computer aspect isn't altogether necessary, but I'd still be nice.

Top this with the fact that school takes up 4/5 of my life, and sleep/eating takes up 0.9/5 of my life, it doesn't leave much time for me to pursue any hobbies.

Why am I so anti-sociable? I hate it. What can I possibly do to snap myself out of it. I'm going nuts just thinking about everything I missed.

Look at school as a way to learn about yourself. I don't know much about myself but my attitude, personality, and overall ambition is completely different when it comes to school. For that, I love school because those things I notice are intensified and increased at school than at my house or not in school, except when I'm not around adults.

I really hate how when I am around adults I have to act mature. Not saying I am not mature, though some may say I am not, but it is this unspoken rule where you gotta make the fewest mistakes as possible. You know? I am always worried about how adults look at me. I want to be the most mature, the most acknowledged, the most intelligent around adults. When I am with my friends I really don't care about those things...

My parents are disgusted by my pattern of my leaving things to the last minute.

I, on the other hand, am amazed at my ability to get myself out of these situations.

They are not impressed.
