Got some motivation from playing halo Wars demo to make a mod. Don't know if I will go through with it tho.

Has it really been that long with you two? That's crazy. I didn't really celebrate 2 years with mine, we just celebrated her birthday more, because it's the day before our 2 year. Her bday is actually today though. I at least got to say happy birthday in person before I had to leave. Yeah, I had bad timing because I didn't really think things through... Her Birthday, the day we started dating, and valentines day are all in the same week... Bad idea lolDoorM4n wrote:I just celebrated my first year with my girlfriend! I had so much fun!

And yeah, I've never been more in love with this girl. I want to yell it!

Has it been that long already DoorM4n? I know several people who made it past the full year mark but then drifted apart, don't let that happen. Judging by your post I'm not too worried about it for you.
OwnZ JoO, two years? That's awesome, good luck.
I might be making a computer game to enter in a state competition, unfortunately it is supposed to be educational in some way also. Since it is a side competition in a technology association competition I think I'll do something with Ohm's law, resistors, 3D graphics, and the RTS/RTT genre.

I'm going on a small road trip with my girlfriend home this weekend-- 6 hours to get home. I'm going to drive under the speed limit.

I think I fixed my broken Floodout II map. I will do some more tests and if all goes well, it could be released soon.

Finished putting my piece of shit Dell back together after like 3+ years. Now if I could only get the piece of shit sound blaster to work, get a new HDD, and up it to 1gig of ram, it might be worth using for something. Also freed up a shitload of desk space for my dev, just need to organize my crap.

I saw like 2 gigs of 2700 ram(I'm guessing that's what your 3 year old dell takes, cuz my dell that's a little older takes that or 3200) for $65.00 with free shipping. That would be a pretty good deal, and I bet it would run real fast with that and ubuntu, or even windows 7 beta with all the graphics enhancements turned off.

My 4 gigs of DDR2 800 was cheaper then that.OwnZ joO wrote:I saw like 2 gigs of 2700 ram(I'm guessing that's what your 3 year old dell takes, cuz my dell that's a little older takes that or 3200) for $65.00 with free shipping. Re: The Official Happiness Thread
Old ram is more expensive. I'm guessing his computer can't handle newer ram or else I wouldn't have suggested that. If you go to Best Buy to look for a gig of pc2700 or pc3200 then it's like $110. So $65 for 2 gigs with free shipping sounds like the cheapest way to get a pretty decently working machine if my assumption is correct that his machine takes older ram.xxpenguinxx wrote:My 4 gigs of DDR2 800 was cheaper then that.OwnZ joO wrote:I saw like 2 gigs of 2700 ram(I'm guessing that's what your 3 year old dell takes, cuz my dell that's a little older takes that or 3200) for $65.00 with free shipping. Edit: Just saw 1 gig of pc2700 for 35 with free shipping, so if you only want 1 gig it would be even cheaper.

I got the skin editor for Cronos working!
Users can now create their own skins or select many of the included skins.

It uses DD2, but if I was gunna spend 60$ on ram I would buy more for my main PC.

I got a new power supply, its 650W with three +12v rails that each have 22A and one of the rails is dedicated to just PCIe.
