Lol, last time I messed around in radiant, I was making cinematics and stuff. I could help you, I would just need to install doom 3 one of these days and look at some of my old scripts.Gjsdeath wrote:It's okay, but I haven't got used to it yet. Trying to get a trigger to work...

And yeah, I know about the errors on the spartan laser. I don't have the intelligence to fix.

If ur talking about the 3volved SL, it sucked anyways, all u need is to make the weapon have a triple shot bullet with the sentinel beamNotZachary82 wrote:http://img10.imageshack.us/img10/6707/m ... atsuck.png

Basic but decent in my opinion. I also fixed the uv and stuff so it should have barely any shading glitches ingame, if any.

Hmm, I found that I do indeed have my WIP SMG model, I thought I lost it in my computer meltdown a month or two back. There are obviously details missing around certain parts that I do intend to model when I go back for major detailing.
Expect progress,

Most likely going to use it just for Halo Rendering ;0, probably not going ingame.

Can't those small dots on the handle and pistol grip be bump maps?

Re: Official Halo 2 Modeling and Rendering Thread
Well, for one, you won't see them as they are the grips, where your hands are...
But the best way, is you have the detailed model as your first person model as it is not as effected by the world, and have a lower poly model as your world/third person model, that uses textures and normal/bump maps to look good, the great thing about bump maps are they cause shadowing and look great with out hurting the frame rate.

As you can tell, no killing FPS to make the model look awesome(not my models btw)
Also, if you ever to import it into a mod, remember that there is no muzzle flash and the firing sound would be loud as maybe a paint ball gun(still a lot lighter sound compared to a unsuppressed firing sound).

You have 40 FPS what do you mean your not killing your FPS, you never had any to start >_>

Re: Official Halo 2 Modeling and Rendering Thread
It doesn't feel like 40... it feels like much more.
And I don't have a very good video card... its decent.
Anyway, it's point is to show that the bump maps don't hurt FPS... even if there isn't much to begin with...

I'd say rifle. There aren't many box-mag fed shotguns around.xxpenguinxx wrote:hmm, shotgun or rifle?
