It worked before, but would freeze as soon as the XDK launcher came on screen. So that tells me that the RAM is not staying connected. But when I look at the chips I really dont think there is any spot where they are not connected.

It could be another issue. There are many causes of the RRoD.

Those machine screws are a joke. The xclamps help, removing them is just idiotic. Also the xbox 360 has a secondary error code which is a RAM error.

FUCK THE 360! I still have the first xbox, and it never failed me!

Took a heat gun to the mobo for 20 min. 3 on top, the flip and 2 on bottom. Covered everything non-chip like in foil. Then let it cool for almost an hour. Screwed the motherboard down with heatsinks and everything. Still has memory problems and 3 RRoD. I don't get it. I'm almost ready to cry due to the fact that A: Nothing works, even though I've gotten it to boot 2 or 3 times, and B I spent $300 on this.

That could have been why it was being sold for that price. The owner might have tried to fix it himself, but failed and decided to sell it. Not all RRoD cases can be fixed. I remember Detox couldn't fix his devkit. Knowing you Grim, I'm sure you will find a way.

Well I'm done fucking with this demo kit. It obvisouly needs some ram reballing. So far I've lost $330, the case to my screw driver set, and a weekends worth of time.

Now I need to scrape up some cash and get this bitch reballed.

Crysis sucks on ATI cards, stupid nvidia lover. I don't have anything against nvidia I just wish they would of optimized it for ATI as well. In all the FEAR games I never see artifacts but I see way too many in crysis and in COD 5, COD 4 didn't have any...

The mouse I'm using doesn't have a scroll wheel.

I don't know something that I should of learned about in middle school, and I'm still unsure what the answer is...

Okay, I don't know if it was karma(well, I'm starting to believe it exists) or me... I was ridding my ATV to open the gate for my parents on there way home from work, my mom always tells me not to drive anywhere but the drive way when doing so.

So I decide on my own, that I'll take the path behind my yard that goes in a loop to the front of my house where the gate is, when ridding on trail, I start to imagine how much it would suck if the ATV would just stop working... and right then, it stops, seems to be not getting any fuel, so I do everything I know to fix it, nothing works, and of course it just happens to be on the part of the path farthest from my house... so the only other thing to do is push it, through sand, then down a road to my drive way... then, on my drive way it just happens to start working again.

Only logical explanation is that bump I hit on the dirt path, though it wasn't nearly as big as other ones I go through every time I ride...

Is Aumaan going to kill me now?
