You may add some fake shadow, dark edges if the bumpmap isn't enough but eaqualy on like if the light was coming from a side and there's shadow on the other.

Demonic, I'd be delighted if you could create some animation for these machines. The brute is very simple, though the jackal may be a little trickier.
I could send you the models and the textures if you'd want to work on the tags.
