It's a lightning object. It produces a flash of light synchronized with the flash of the lightning shader used in the Terminal sky.

The pink blur is just so that I could find the object.

I think a ODST mod is a good idea.

Once we all play it we would all try to remake it.
He just beat us all to the idea.
And as for it not being creative, not all good mods are completly new ideas, most are the same bungie created objects reskined, resized, or repositiond.
Ive yet to see a mod where everything is custom, or not copied from something else.

Keep up the good work.

Need to inject the Charge Handle and tweak those shaders.

I'm glad someone made a fully working AR. That compass works properly, correct?

*Edit: Though, it seems a little flat on the top.

Heh heh heh, funny you should say "fully working", sadly the only thing completed are the model and textures.

And yes, that compass actually does work, I just happen to be facing North in the screen shots. :lol:

How did you get it to work? There is no weapon in Halo2 that has a compass.

It's an Active StringID. Dark made a compass like thing a while back and pointed out that the SID "compass" reacted to the maps local North.

I just edited one of those ammo counter shaders to use it.

I'm still a bit unhappy with the smoothing. I'll probably fix the smoothing another time though.

Hmm, very observant you are. :wink:
Yes, it was injected with a newer PMI that supports multiple shaders and might, if mine and Cougars theory works, may support node asigning

Why does my MA5C look like an inflatable? It's almost as if I could hug it.

Fear not Doom, you're model will see justice. Because when I do redo the smoothing, I shall do it by hand. :¬_¬: < srs face.

Even know the answer is clearly posted, you could always figure it out, the same way Dark and I did.

Compass Works! It displays numbers instead of the image i told it to use.

Battle rifle number
North = 0
Northeast = 1
East = 2
Southeast = 3
South = 4
Southwest = 5
West = 6
Northwest = 8

Check out a video using the FTP Servers its under Misc/Click's Stuff/Number Compass.flv
