Even know the answer is clearly posted, you could always figure it out, the same way Dark and I did.
funny thing is i just figured it out!

Its only displaying numbers, even when I change the bitmap it continues to show numbers.
Its been 2 years and your still as dumb as the day you began modding... Possibly dumber. Congrats.

You probably changed the wrong Ident. After all, the ammo counter shader has 12 Idents pointing to that bitmap tag.

I just injected the images directly into that bitmap... I deleted submaps 8 and 9 and inject N, NE, E, SE, S, SW, W, NW.

EDIT: I was just testing, If i where going to make this like official, I would have made separate tags.

Do you really have to make a comment? I don't mod much anymore so I really don't remember everything.

Whatever. Why do you do this to me dark? What did I do to you?

I'm glad to see you got it working click. Maybe you could put something like a minimap to show where you are and the direction you're heading in.

I really think it is awesome though!

Ya...except it's playing backwards. A compass is supposed to point in one direction, North.
That is unless it's something to tell you the direction your are facing then it would be correct.

I actually made the same mistake, injecting the bitmaps in the wrong order, but I am lazy and edited the function instead of reinjecting 6 of the 8 bitmaps.

Ya, the light shadows on a map usually(not always though) come down at the same angle as the sun lensflare(about 45* in coag), only the heading is random every time you spawn.

I didn't realize it until I started assembling the AR on ascension that the heading of the shadow kept changing.
