Fucking gay.
My Xbox LIVE gold subscription expired the 21st of last month. That very morning I went out and bought a 12-month subscription card and redeemed the code onto my account.
But the auto renew kept trying to take $50 of a card that expired a year ago and I kept receiving emails from Xbox Customer Service threatening to disable my account unless I update my account(pay $50).
The only way to remove this was to revert it to a Silver account thus erasing the the so called debt....and the 12 month code.
They said that they will send me a new one in an email...the fuckers didn't say that it would take a week to send it.
Here I was worried that unless I call them I would loose my 12 month prepaid...and lost it anyway.
At least I was signed in the entire time, so I still have Gold access until I sign out.
Edit: Fuck, when they reverted my account, everyone was permamuted and then I was kicked out of the pregame lobby when I left a match.
That code better arrive within 3 days from now.
