Almost got my Cygnos 2 installed. The flash solder pads are fucking tiny, took me a good hour to solder them, and thats only half the points. But atleast the rest are bigger and easier.

What all will that allow you to do? I googled it and know it allows you to have 2 kernels and allow running homebrew. What are you planning to do with it?

It gives you a second flash chip, so you can toggle between the cygnos one, and the onboard one. I plan to use one for homebrew, and one for a older dashboard version. Possibly 4532 if it's possible to run those any more. I also might mess around with the rebooter that was released, not that I have any games worth playing and this console has some overheating issues any way.

dude.. I'm gonna put that UDK on a flash-drive and take it to school, my CAD teacher's been saying that the game-development part of our class will be working with the unreal engine, but idk if he knows it went public... in which case..we don't have to wait for the software like we are for Maya... and..those new "top-of-the-line" computers we were promised... last I heard they bumped that expected date to June... which sucks because I'll only be able to use them for a bit.. my computer I am on at home is easily three times better than the ones at school.. I'm surprised those things have graphics cards that supports dual monitors.. fuckin single core processors.. and the monitor cable on one of my monitors there is loose and I have to fuck with it for twenty minutes to get a descent picture on the screen.. otherwise I have two cursors... stretched across about an inch of the screen....

I managed to get the warthog doors to open more, now I need to get them to rotate slightly so you don't go through them when you get in and out.

OK, goto google.com, now type: "why wont"

My friend texted me, congratulating me on getting into A&M.

My parents are currently in another room, probably planning on surprising me with the news...

Congrats.

I'm posting this from my new computer :)

Also Google Chrome is a seriously bad ass browser now. I tried 1.0 and it was good, I think I'm gonna tinker with 3.0 and see how it compares to firefox before I install firefox on here, maybe I won't install firefox at all if Chrome suits my needs.

I just realized it's a total coincidence my friend even told me that I was accepted. She didn't actually know, she assumed for some reason. This prompted me to look online, and it was true :D Interesting.

Anyway, thanks for the congratulatory responses.

I have a really good idea I'm gunna work on for h2. It's basically a very advanced trainer. But it's gunna require I write my own trainer launcher, not something I am very happy about, but the benefits in the end will be amazing.

Wait, if you do you could fix these things?

B button Triggers(Banshee Bomb)
Max Players Limit
AI kills count towards score?
Shadows?
PHMO attachment collision?

It's almost pointless to fix the max players limit. In the peak of halo 2 modding it was kinda hard to set up a game with 16+ players to test the trainer that xbox7887 came out with. Like I've said before, I'm almost positive I recall xbox7887 saying the limiting factor was something with the engine or some buffering issue or xbox hardware, so even if you could remove the limit and organize a game, if that's true it wouldn't even work.

Actually I was talking more on the lines of a framework that lets you extend the game API via hooks.

anyone care to elaborate for the not-programmer type? (me)
I love some of the features in Yelo, however if you could save more than one camera positions.. and if those camera positions stayed saved to a text file or something so it didn't need to be updated every time the game is loaded
