I haven't been sick in so long that I forgot how much being sick sucks.

When a family member became sick. I would just close/lock my bedroom door and wait for everyone else to get sick and get well before resuming contact.
This has worked extremely well as I've completely avoided illness for the last 3 years.

However this time around the cold was not at the fault of a family member....but a combination of mother nature and a non-functioning heater.

Yea, I got pneumonia two years ago and decided not to get sick again after that. So, I don't. I haven't done anything different and I haven't gotten sick since. It's worked for me, you should try it.

When I was little I tried sleeping pills to help me sleep once, they kept me awake

My doctor said that happens sometimes when they're prescribed to younger patients when I asked for them. He just kept me on percocet instead.

Which reminds me of my morning rant... If you tend to read a lot and are more interested in art and music, you tend to be more creative. WHY CAN"T THESE PEOPLE COME UP WITH CREATIVE WAYS TO TEACH?

It's less complaining about the practices of the government, more complaining about my Government class, which studies... the government.
Like, seriously though. I've taken AP classes all throughout high school, and recieved A's and high B's. I decide to take a break senior year, take a regulars course. I have a C.

And Faulkner is just a tool. He totally knew that he was going to screw the hell out of my english class when he wrote Absalom, Absalom! I can't for the hell of me understand that book. Ok. My cold is gone. I am still coughing allot though. However that is due to the 5+ year old dust under my bed. That area has been cleaned out.
Luckily I did not have to actually go under the bed. I used a flashlight and a grabber wand thing. Ya know, that thing with the pistol grip handle and two prongs at the other end of it?

So far I've searched through/cleaned the 4 storage containers, area next to, under, and on, the TV stand, around and inside nightstand table, and of course the under of the bed.

Now I have to clean on and under this desk, and then dismantle it. Then I will be clear to get into the closet and get rid of all the shit in there.

Then I get to dismantle my bed, only to reassemble it in the living room. >_>

So far I have like six 24x18x18in. boxes and at least 8 trash bags of shit I've collected and forgotten about over the last decade.

(moving out at 20yrs old seems pointless, but maybe parents realized that they should have given you the boot 2 years ago.. and planned a birthday surprise... then again it'd be better if they moved your shit...)

In my middle school, a parent was asked to leave for only bringing two cupcakes, one for their daughter and one for her friend. They said "It is an unkind gesture to not bring enough for the class, and can cause tension between students."

One time my brother Ant, when he was little in the 1st grade, was picking up crayons that the other student dropped, he got the blame for it and had to sit in the "bad row." While this is sad enough for a 1st grader, my mom cursed the shit out of the teacher and she says: "Well, he shouldn't be helping other students with their problems."

Sad really.
