Nope, I'm pretty sure it's correct.

My webcam arrived today :D
and as shitty as I thought it would be for $10 it's not bad, the 6 LED's on it pointing at me are kind of irritating.. and as of yet I don't believe I can turn them off... the camera came in a bag inside its box, no paperwork or software..

the LED's are most likely in series. If you unsolder the anode or cathode, the whole array would turn off. If not, just unsolder each one one-by-one.

EDIT or just install a switch...

yea that's actually what I was planning, on I have a few switches laying around that I took out of broken electronics, but given the size of the camera I assumed that they would all be soldered to a board inside, not in a series.. but possibly..I might open it up later tonight and see.
not sure how I would do the switch though.. that would require me to cut the outer shell of the camera to make room for a switch to be accessible.... and idk if I can do that cleanly

Well they could be soldered to the board, but still, if its hooked up that negative is attached to the next one in line's positive lead, they are in series. So just solder a switch and you would be good.

Whew. Disconnected all my computer hardware 3 days ago and have been packing up the house. Now it's just myself and my youngest brother for a week.

I have my 360, PC monitor, Lamp, and other miscellaneous equipment packed onto and under a little 18x18in night stand table.
I still have to drag my mattress out to the living room but at least the heater has been fixed.

Hahahaha. Texas has a "Safe Cupcake Amendment," legislation that makes it illegal to ban parents from bringing cupcakes to their child's school during that kid's birthday.

I'm never leaving.

In my middle school, a parent was asked to leave for only bringing two cupcakes, one for their daughter and one for her friend. They said "It is an unkind gesture to not bring enough for the class, and can cause tension between students."

That's actually funny that the school asked the parent to leave.

But, seriously though, if I were a kid in the class or a friend of the girl that didn't get a cupcake, I'd be pissed. It was somebody's birthday, thus, I have a right to a cupcake. It's law.

That parents lacks... common sense. They could've been at least discreet with it... but to give it so blatantly that the school makes a big deal out of it is dumb.

I did enjoy the parental pastries in school. But throughout school I've always wondered why that shit was so upside down.

As in: "It's my birthday. Why the hell do I have to bring you a present on my birthday?"

Cause people are little bitches and the school has to obey what the parents want. If their wasn't adults, their would be no tax, no tax = no school funds. So yeah, the parents are the principle's principle. :XD:

for real right.. I would have had them bring me a pizza or some shit.. then eat it in front of people.. or.. keys to a new car... now that'd be badass..

side not:
I jsut got $40 .. what to buy.. I'm thinking a crapy LCD monitor and a monitor splice cable thing.. so I can haz 3 monitors.. then make some stand to have 1 monitor on top of my other one..
or.. a 2.5" IDE --> USB 2.0 cable.. but that shouldnt cost much.. I have 2 laptop drives I'd love to use as portable drives.. a 6gb and a 20gb..
