I remember when I first saw the Halo Reach Trailer, that I wished the game could look like this.

Then, I read the Bungie newest update:

A: The Halo: Reach trailer was produced directly in our new game engine using real game assets. Because the game is still in the midst of development, which means things like framerate are still in flux, we do something called a “frame dump” that lets us spit out the content, frame by frame, and then compile it back as the video you all saw on Saturday. We can actually run this same cinematic right now, within the latest game build, but it’s not always at the consistent smooth framerate of the final game (yet).

Seems like there working on it, but it's not done yet.

Ok, arrived at the new house night before last. Got there at 12:30 at night. Most of the trip was a simple one cause we were able to take 40 most the way.

The dog got sick and puked on the back seat and some clothing...4 times...in less than 2 hours. The vet proscribed some sedatives which suppressed the gag reflex and made her drowsy.

With my dad's first trip, where he had a 40ft uHaul and trailer, he could only do 55mph legally and 70mph max.
When we got into the truck, we could do 75 most of the way and 90-95 when not near a city. (where cops camp out speeders)
It took us 2 1/2 days.

We got trapped at 2 car accidents. First one someone was apparently badly hurt, (they got an airlift).
The second someone rolled his vehicle. He either tried to pass a trucker by passing on the paper thin shoulder, or clipped the front of the semi. He also was likely hurt but this was like 2 miles out of town.
Thankfully his wreck of a car landed off the road, so only the right lane was cut off.

First hotel didn't allow animals, we snuck her in anyway. The second hotel allowed dogs she started to sweat cause the AC unit was set to 80F.
Third hotel also allowed dogs but you have to go through the main door to get to your door so we could not keep an eye on the vehicle so we just drove through the night.

We got lost in Memphis, Tennessee. No one knows directions there, and the map we had only showed main highways and roads, no city roads. So we lost 1+ hours looking for the next highway.

Two of my boxes are somewhere else in the house, and I'm missing a key part of my desk, the part with the Ziploc bag full of bolts taped to it.
So I can't assemble my desk, and as the result, am unable to fully unpack as the setup of my room revolves around the desk.

This house is much smaller, no garage. The cable modem is in the next room but this has problems.
I don't want to tack the network cable to the wall because it's tacky looking. The carpet looks nice and is securely attached to the floor so I don't want to pull it up.

Each room has coaxial cable coming up from the floor, so I can feed a new cable through that hole. But that means I have to get into the crawlspace of the house, and since it's been raining for the last 4 days, it's a swamp under there.

Damn, hard trip, and not a nice welcoming.
but moving always has it's ups-and-downs most of which you have an empty (or nearly) room for you to arrange your shit however you want, and if you don't ever find those bolts for your desk you might be in for a new desk, which is also nice, unless you get a shitty one from a thrift store ..cough..me... but hey its better than the metal kart I was using..

Located that desk part but cannot get to it yet as the way is blocked by a mountain of boxes.

Setup my 360 on a step ladder as a temp. location.

Setup main router and discovered that it supports WDS. If my second one also supports WDS, I could wirelessly bridge them until the crawlspace dries out.

The download is slightly misleading, my ISP uses powerboost so you can get like 30 seconds to 2 minutes(I think?) of higher download speed. I think right now we're rated at 12, but 16-18 is not unusual when its not a peak operating time.

People at the Interlopers site are pretty cool, it's active and most the people there are quite smart when it comes to mapping. (HL2 Mod Related)

Also, I am getting a new 360, as the old one broke. It might end up being an elite one too.
