Haha! Nice one Zach. I haven't seen a Campaign mod for some time now. Maybe this post can inspire other people. *hint* *hint*

I tried Campaign map once, was pretty cool, but it took forever with the FTP speed I had going. Other then that, it worked out pretty well.

I wish you luck with it.

More bugger/drone variety.

Blue drone is a needler variant only.
Red drone is a captain with a brute plasma rifle (like ODST), and has weak shields.
Gold drone is a swarm leader (and is similar to the captain) with stronger shields.

Nobody is unfortunately going to be able to play with any of this unless a new tool comes out.

It's no rush.
The mod is going to take quite a while. I'm just trying to get all the assets done first.

They do. It's that large block on their left arm ...

Unless you mean energy shields. :| They're bullet-proof anyway.

Also, Zieon (unintentionally) gave me a wonderful idea for a new grunt permutation that rhymes with muicide munt.
Adding those to my list.

I have no idea how I'd get it to work, but I have a design in mind (it won't work until a better model injection comes around though).

I would like if we could inject models with bones... but even then, they would still need a collision model... unless you replaced a model.

Unintentionally? I'll claim 95% of the idea and you should count yourself lucky I gave you that 5%! (Alright, so maybe it's vice-versa, who cares?)

You thinking straight up suicide grunts, or grunts that pull out grenades instead of fleeing? Flood carrier AI, is perfect for the first, and if you could find any way to implement the elite's sword berserk, that would be perfect for the second.
Zieon Eslador (1:23:09 AM): I haven't seen Watchmen, but I plan to eventually...
NotZachary (1:23:15 AM): it has nukes, random things happening, and retards screaming
NotZachary (1:23:19 AM): kinda like MW2

I see many problems with animations, I assume the bone structure of the grunt is far different from the elite, though, I suppose if they are similar enough that you could. Also, that's a good idea using the flood carrier AI, as you could just swap effects. By the way, something you have to do, is take the grunt model, make a 4 models; arm, leg, torso chunk, and head. So when he explodes you see chunks of grunt go flying everywhere :XD:

Also, you will most likely be forced to call apon DS, as he was our animation modification master. As your be renaming and transferring animations.

So besides the bloom, which I can easily reduce, what do you think?

Also I found something weird. If you run DebugOutput in Yelo, and load up Backwash, when you get near the "ITS LOOKIN A LITTTLE ROUGH OUT HERE" Text on the ground it does this:

heavy rain, stop, restarting, light rain, and, start.

It just a script controls the intensity of the weather. It does that all the time when you have the debug output.

I like it, by the way, could you make those little guns on the front activate when the player is in it? You can them work two different ways, so they will use AI to shoot your enemies(I did this with the hog turret, it was awesome) or you could make the player have full control over them.

I can't seem to get the exterior right. It always seems to "blend" with the interior.
