or game design.. UDK has a few pop-up windows that you still need to use the main windows with..
PC gaming.. can have chat windows or what-not open on other monitor etc. etc.

Re: The Official Happiness Thread
I think it says a great deal about my changing gaming habits when I prefer playing Zelda OoT over COD VI. It does not help that COD VI is full of noob bitches, laggy hosts, and a high level of jackassery.
On a side note is there anything Zelda OoT did that was not done right? I mean when Ganondorf fucking smiles, the pixels around his mouth go white, showing teeth. For the technology they had those developers did an amazingly in-depth job for that game.

I'm playing resident evil 3 on my DC while talking to TheSwampFox
Dam I love this game. But resident evil 5 pissed me off. It COMPLETLY deviates from the entire playing style of the older resident evil games.

Since when can't you?Grimdoomer wrote:Yea, too bad you cant have a full screened youtube video on one screen, and be doing shit on the other
Well you can't play CoD6 all the time, you need not just another game, but another genre of game as a substitute when one gets boring.JacksonCougar wrote:I think it says a great deal about my changing gaming habits when I prefer playing Zelda OoT over COD VI. Emulator: I play for fun and for an exercise in imagination and thought. One day once I get the tools I need I will be making a Zelda OoT mod or perhaps eventually just a port.OwnZ joO wrote:I love playing OoT too, you have a n64 or using an emulator? I got a 64 and both zelda games for it.
If I made a port I would probably just make a new game altogether though :p Maybe in the same way as the new Star Trek.

Re: The Official Happiness Thread
with full screen videos, if you click anywhere off the screen it makes it normal sized again
I remember someone made a very nice looking Zelda mod for Halo 1 CE
I considered remaking OoT using UDK whilst watching my sister's play it on the gamecube..
I've never played it myself, played TP though, from what I gather all the new zelda games are disappointing when it comes to puzzles compared to OoT..

Re: The Official Happiness Thread
OoT of time is a special game for me. It was a game I never owned but became an avid fan of. I would save money and rent a Nintendo 64 when I was young just to play that game. It took me something along the lines of a year to finally beat the game. So yea, it has a special place in my gaming heart.socrates wrote:with full screen videos, if you click anywhere off the screen it makes it normal sized again

Me too, it was the first game that I got with my n64 and it was the one I wanted so bad. Definitely my favorite game of all time along with the original halo for xbox(different categories so they're both my favorite)

Re: The Official Happiness Thread
I have OoT and Master Quest on a 2 game Nintendo GameCube disk, so I have the orig OoT, and the harder version.
EDIT:
Also, I think that The Legend of Zelda and The Wind Waker was fun too. I like how you travel across the sea and stuff. Also, Twilight Princess's plot is freaking amazing. That is, in my opinion, better the OoT.

So if I bought a gamecube what disk would I need to have all the zelda games?

Re: The Official Happiness Thread
No, it wasn't custom, it was actually a combo pack I found at GameCrazy for $9.00 plus tax.
Wait, you could just use Surreal 64, get a Zelda OoT rom file, and load it on the XBOX. I have the rom if you want it. But you have to make sure you have purchased the N64 version for legal reasons.
I legally bought mine.

Re: The Official Happiness Thread
XD seeing as OoT was special to you, you might appreciate this as much, if not more than my sisters, as they played it in my living room I realized how much they liked it, them sharing a dorm room in college I made this as a present for both of them.. for them to hang above their door...JacksonCougar wrote:OoT of time is a special game for me. XD they liked it a lot.. cardboard paint and "Plaster of Paris" lots of work too, originally got the idea from a site I Stumbled that had printable designs for it.. but that would mean regular paper and.. flat..so I cut the switch's grooves out in some double ply cardboard and glued it together, painted, then shaped an eye which I later painted, still want to gloss the eyeball with some clear coat but I don't have any...
