My Turtle Beach headset developed a short in it's cable. Good thing the cable is like 30 fuck'n miles long.

Edit: Oh great it get's even better. There are two shorts. One on the cable going into the volume control, and a second on the cable going from the volume control into the headset.

By headphone wire, do you mean like the actual wire used (enameled wire) or mean actual wire, as in like the connector cable?

The actual enamel wire strands. Horrible shit. It wouldn't been such a pain but they use a very fine gauge (like 36AWG) with only like 4-5 strands to make up the wire.

They twist thread in with it to make it stronger but only just so and when it does eventually short, the string makes it ever so much harder to repair.

Damn the flexibility, I want a cable as thick as an extension cord because at least it won't short out.

So basically I have a shitty network which I hate. I have a primary Linksys router which is your classic, O-ma-god you-suck WRT54G. That router then cascades onto another Linksys router: this time a BEFSX41, which is an O-ma-god—kill it, kill it with fire—piece of crap which I hate from the depths of my being.

So what happens is my secondary router—kill it with fire!—likes to simply stop all connection whenever uTorrent is running for a length of time, or just randomly for shits and giggles when I am trying to post a reply on remnant, or watch a streaming video. This is most frustrating—but it gets better! The primary router, being the P.o.S that it is, loves to also drop connections from time to time.

So when the hateful secondary router is working fine, the primary router fucks with me.

I am going to buy a new router soon, and smash the fuck out of this BEFSX41 model.

Also I am going to the Zoo.
