you can reduce the poly count by making each barrel 6 sided, you won't even notice a difference ingame unless you stare strait at the model for 20 seconds zoomed in.

I have a few good models but my drive I store stuff on slows down my computer so I don't have it attached most of the time.

The primary cylinder can be reduced down to around 12-16 sides and the barrels can actually be solid as in no inside part and have the "opening" on the end of the barrel being on the texture.

Depending on how hard a mod is, sometimes i inject a bunch of models into one.
i know i cant inject the model, its just like a drawing of my idea.
i do this with many things.
That. Is a tank with no main turret, 2 pelican missile launchers and 3 portable turrets...should be piss easy to put together.

Easy, but not piss easy, still got to clone chunks, that can sometimes be a pain in the ass, but a pretty cool out come.

@ Dragonfire

that would be a great model, but the barrel wouldn't spin, witch wouldn't make it look right. :(

Well as long as you do it to duplicated tags you should have a good chance of success.

Oh no, it can. If it's a turret then some simple attachments can be used to do as such.

Check the "Parsed" check box just before duplicating it. This ensures the meta on the new tag is 100% internal to the new tag.

Yes, attachments can be attached to any bone on an object.
Take the Bulldog for example: The chain guns use this system.
The Chaingun turrets on that vehicle started out as warthog turrets.
The body model is attached to the pivot of the turret and the barrels are attached to the actual barrels of the chain gun.

I can help more over AIM.
You can also examine how the chain gun thing was done on the tags for the Bulldog.

Randomize? As in like have them shift a little so its not a perfect circle or randomize as in random colors?

Anyway, Last night I did a Roman Candle shell and decided to do a little choreography with it. :smile2:
