Looks like it has a lot of polys anyway as long as it doesn't lag its great!

You need not worry about the visual mesh, it's the textures that nom on memory. And it uses two 256x bitmaps with 888 polys per bulb and socket.
So lag is no issue.

I didn't put a custom illum map yet so I just left the flag base illum. I'm thinking of darkening the UV and adding the same texture to the warthog. I don't have classes in the afternoon so I'll have plenty of time to work on this before 2009. I may add a snow covered look the the wheels to go with the season.

I hit a rock and flipped. I thought the angle looked good. I'm thinking I may need to add mipmaps because the texture looks odd from a distance plus it would reduce lag, not that I have any with 4 hogs.
