I don't remember where a download is, but yeah I pretty much don't use XP anymore, and I will occasionally boot into ubuntu, bust mostly just Windows 7 because I like it lots.

In windows 7 do you have to disable the desktop composition still or no?
I know this may not be exactly happy but... I noticed every girl who I've liked over the past 3 years have had something extremely depressing and scaring happen to them. One of them saw their mother nearly killed by their father. And now that I cleared things up I believe two of them have seen a friend kill themselves. I'm beginning to wonder why I'm like this.

Gjsdeath, Microsoft pulled the beta download at the end of February, but the Release Candidate will be available to the public at the end of May. If you can't wait, find the beta on a torrent tracker.
Penguin, Yes, you still have to do that. It's a bug with the SandBar menu. Divelelements fixed that bug in a newer version of the SandBar dll.
Windows 7 has been my primary OS for a few months now and I am VERY satisfied. A lot faster than XP and Vista.

Re: The Official Happiness Thread
Old friend.
Knew him probably since... 1st or 2nd grade. Even kept in touch when I moved to Hawaii and he was stuck on the mainland.
We grew quite apart when we entered high school. I theorize that we just got really busy, and couldn't find time.
Talked to him extensively for three hours during one AIM session, back in August. We just caught up, and everything. It was helpful, because back in August I was going through a ton of bad stuff, as few will remember, and, coincidentally, he was going through some stuff, too. So we talked about that stuff.
But I hadn't talked to him, since. He doesn't get on AIM, a lot... or at all, really.
Anyway, yesterday, he messaged while I was offline. Basically saying, and I'm paraphrasing, "Hey dude, what's up. Haven't seen or talked to you in awhile. I lost your number so long ago. I got Xbox Live recently, so you should hit me up. Oh, by the way, Happy late birthday."
I was like
So yeah, I'll try to hang out with him. Maybe call 'im this weekend. He told me his XBL name, as well. I offline messaged him my appropriate phone numbers.
But what surprised me was that he remembered my birthday. I'm surprised he had it.

the one I was going to use didn't have the holes on the other end and I didn't want to solder to the cable itself.Grimdoomer wrote:It was a standard printer cable.xxpenguinxx wrote:I found the proper parallel cable for the project grim did.

Re: The Official Happiness Thread
Distance or Sprint? 58 seconds is a pretty good 400m time. Two or three distance runners can do that on my team and about five of the sprinters (Most of the other sprinters are either girls or slackers) can do that.

Re: The Official Happiness Thread
Still a lot better than I can do on the 400m. I'm distance and probably get 1:10 - 1:15 if I feel like killing myself.
Ohh yea, my happiness that I forgot to post in the first post- It rained on our meet yesterday and I tried running in my new long distance spikes; I got 11:52 on the two-mile. Fastest on our team because our fastest distance runner just didn't feel like running.

You deserve those, Grim. You should have gotten Construct when you released Gravemind.

I just took a sip of orange juice right after biting the edge of a poptart off, I know I ate something that tasted just like this a long time ago but I can't remember what.
Possibly:
Fig newtons with an orange flavor
Peaches
Some orange flavored cracker
