Fucking bullshit. Just another fucking thing that school has taken away from me. I honestly don't know why I still fucking go. I've lost so much from school and haven't gotten shit out of it yet. It's fucking bullshit. I'm ready to fucking flip out on my parents. English is the worst. It's a bunch of HORSE SHIT. Math there are equations and theorems behind it all. Science there are equations, measurments, chemical reactions behind everything. English.... There is nothing. All the fucking literary devices and all that bullshit. It's fucking stupid, they are ideas, nothing more then bullshit ideas. I fucking hate that class so god dam fucking much jesus fucking christ. How the fuck the BOE approved such a flawed, bullshit, made up load of fuck is beyond me. Why the fuck we have to take it for 4 god dam years is beyond me. I hate that class with such a burning passion I just wan't to fucking punch someone in the face. The fact that the rest of your entire life depends on the four years you where at high school when you where a fucking teenager is fucking stupid. The whole thing is fucking stupid. I have such a fucking headache right now, I'm ready to fucking kill someone.

So since I'm not gunna get into any college I want to go to, and the colleges I will get into, if any, don't teach anything I want to learn, so here is my life plan. In two years from now when I graduate high school, I'll apply for Bungie. If I don't get hired, well I'm fucked for the rest of my life. Because I'm not gunna be judged based on my programing abilities, or my knowledge on computers. I'll be judged by a piece of papper that said I spent x amount of years of my fucking life learning fucking bullshit that doesn't matter worth a fuck for what I'm applying for. It's fucking bullshit, that I should be fucked up the ass for the rest of my life, because I don't want to learn the stupid shit at school. That I wan't to learn about circuitry, programming, and loads of other stuff. But you know what, some other basterd will get the job I so want. Some other basterd will have the piece of papper I don't. But you know what, that basterd won't have the passion I have. You should be able to upgrade grade 12 classes at a college. Trust me Grim, focus on school for now, it will save you a tonne of wasted time in the future: right now all your schooling is free (relatively), so take advantage of that. I regret my high-school years very much now that I have a chance to look back on it. It's going to take a lot of hard work and determination on my part to get where I want in life now: which may turn out to be a boon--who knows.

Grim I feel the same way you do about Litterateur (if that's spelled write, they fk'd me up by refusing to teach spelling past 4th grade). It is bullshit, but you know what, life is bullshit, so what. Ask your grandparents about it, they'll admit that its mostly bullshit. Now, what you need to do is to take that bullshit and make something out of it, it's better to have a full heaping pile then to have nothing at all.

The 4 years of it is just a waste in high school. I learned most of my English skills in elementary school. After that they kind of stopped teaching spelling and grammer and just had us read bs stories and learn the few words out of them. I think the words were more interesting then the stories.

I'm surprised they don't teach math more then they do, I mean math is not made up, it's there, it will always be there. English is just one way of communicating, and technically it would never exist if intelligent life never existed, at least the way they teach us about it. To me math is the only thing that could make a higher being possible. Think about how the pc works, now think about how our body works, now think about everything that you could use an equation to make... You'll see that you can make EVERYTHING! Ya we can use our voices to communicate and explain what to do, but without math, those words would never be spoken.

No, you just moved away from math, now you are talking about English. (Well, Latin I suppose) Math is about the values of the characters not the characters themselves. Even in a numerical system with 2 being represented by M and 5 by R, "M + M =/= R." Two rocks plus two rocks does not give you five rocks.

Let's take the last two equations.

5O + 7A + 2B = 44
1O + 3A + 5B = 26

Multiple the bottom one by 5.

50 + 15A + 25B = 130

And then subtract it from the top equation.

(5O + 7A + 2B = 44)
- (50 + 15A + 25B = 130)

-8A - 23B = -86

Now you have an equation with only two variables.

Do the same thing with two other equations to get another equation with the same two variables. Then subtract, or add, those two equations together so that another variable cancels out.

You cannot combine like terms. If you have 3 oranges (3o) and 5 bananas (5b) you can't say 3o + 5b = 8ob or 8f (f = Fruits) Impossible. The answer is 3o + 5b. Read it like so: "Three oranges, and five bananas." Damn. I hope that's what your talking about. If not. Excuse me. :p
