Just got most of the living room boxes unpacked. My desk part is still MIA.

The last possible place to look is the shed outside. I took out several things and still haven't found it.
Hope is high, expectations are low.

My brother's TV stopped working yesterday.

He said that he was able to turn it on, put a tape in, start playing it, and then it cuts off and refuses to come back on.
I thought it was a blown fuse with the fuse weakened by the 2100 mile trip with drastic temp changes throughout.

So I opened it, bypassed the fuse (by wrapping foil around it) and plugged it in for a second to see if it worked.
Yes, the fuse was indeed blown, but not because of being worn out by the trip. It blew legitimately.
And when I plugged it in, it blew a circuit right off the board. My room now smells like burning enamel.

I don't feel like tracking down the fault in this POS TV, so my dad will get him another one eventually.

Ya but I assumed that it being placed in a below-freezing environment in a cardboard box was a stress factor.
The damage caused is minimal though, it only burned off a half-inch of circuit. But since I don't plan on fixing it anyway, it doesn't matter.

Not having a life is sorta depressing... knowing only like 4 people excluding my family would notice if I just up and died.

Sad how most the people to notice me missing would be online...

Even my dreams are depressing, I seem to always try to be the hero and die trying. Try to fight hordes of zombies, eaten. Try to run from some robot thing, blown up. Try to defend myself in some way, I end up dead. It's ether: Death dream, crappy dream, or no dream.

And don't buy any of that bull where they say dying in your dreams means something like "a new life" or something, when I die in my dream, it doesn't mean anything other then the fact that I am dead.

But seriously don't think like this, I know we all at least once during our lives but it's not the end of the world or anything of the sort. Just continue on and it will pass, and when you realize it has you will wonder why you even had the thoughts in the first place. You just have to snap yourself out of it. I can't say how, that's your job. And don't just go for the quick fix, because the fix is more like a hello kitty band-aid. It may look bright and colorful but it only covers the damage and makes you look like a sissy little girl, and not the cute one.

There was a time when I just felt sad constantly, but one day I woke up and said, "I'm not feeling sad anymore." Since then I have managed to keep a smile on my face, and not that fake smile, a real one.

Thanks for the support guys, I just need something else to think of when I am bored. When bored or going to sleep, if I can't think of anything good, I start thinking of depressing thoughts.

And Cougar, man, I would if I could, though unless I walk 30 miles, I can't go to shit.

By the way, penguin, I assume you mean a "quick fix" is drugs? If so, don't worry, there is no amount of depression that will cause me to resort to such things. It would only cause more problems.

I recall seeing a post about how computers like to fuck up and cause trouble around New Years. Whom ever said that couldn't have been more correct.
Because my PC want's to fuck up now.

My computer won't shut down....or to be more exact, won't stay shut down.

While I usually need a constant low noise to help me sleep, having my hard drive CONSTANTLY active annoys me.
So I figured I put it in Sleep mode. Only to be instantly woken back up. But this is usually due to network activity.

I put it in Hibernation, I get into my bed and get comfy only to hear Vreeeeeeerrr like 20 seconds later. It started itself back up after the system was effectively off.

So I thought fuck it, Shut it Down, go to bed. Only to wake up the next morning to a very familiar sound, my PC on and sitting at the welcome screen.

Failed at school.
Failed at anything physically demanding.
Failed at modding.
Failing at math.

I pretty much just fail at life.
